Boiler Room TEN: Sydney line-up announced

The 10th Anniversary of Boiler Room is making its way across the globe to cities like London, Paris, Brussels and most importantly, Sydney. The line-up for this Australian show has been revealed and it includes both local and international artists. Starting with the home-grown talent, the likes of Ayebatonye, DJ Boring and Merph will be appearing. The biggest name here, DJ Boring, is making his long awaited return to the great southern land after a successful move to London and an even more successful performance at last year’s Boiler Room at AVA Festival, Belfast. Be sure to watch out for Sydney’s own Merph, who’s genre melding sounds have featured on Backyard Opera as our Mix of the Week (LINK). For those familiar with the eastern suburbs Sydney sound, Ayebatonye will provide the upbeat and energetic house music that Sydneysiders crave.

The international artists truly showcase Boiler Room’s global reach. From France is the techno innovator himself, Bambounou, whose moody, dystopian sci-fi textures will be sure to provide a unique aesthetic. Coming off the release of his ambient debut album Gamma Infolded, released November last year, is Ex-Terrestrial, the airy dream house Canadian who will be making his first appearance in Sydney. Last but definitely not least is Nazira, one of the biggest names in Kazakhstan’s underground electronic scene. Her heart thumbing, breakneck paced techno beats will be sure to ignite the dancefloor.

Sydney will host to Boiler Room TEN at the Roundhouse in Kensington on Saturday, March 21st. Tickets are selling fast, so be sure to secure your final release ticket here: https://premier.ticketek.com.au
