BYO: How long have you been modelling for?

MATHILDE: Not for long. I’ve only been in Australia for one month. Before that, I was in Guadeloupe and five years ago I did some modelling for one and a half years.

BYO: What drew you to modelling, how did you get your start?

MATHILDE: I was working in a restaurant and I met an agent who I spoke to and heled me get my start. Two weeks later, I did a shoot with her and signed with an agency.

BYO: What do you do when you’re not modelling?

MATHILDE: My dream job would be to be a collection director in the fashion industry.

BYO: What’s been the highlight of your modelling career so far?

MATHILDE: Meeting people. You get to meet people from everywhere. Modelling also helps to discover new places.  Going to castings has really helped me in discovering Sydney.

BYO: Describe your personal style.

MATHILDE: I think I’m a mix of streetwear, classic and kind of ‘bling bling’. I love to mix a bag with chains and a classic and elegant outfit with sneakers.
