This Weekend in Sydney 3/8

Singing, dancing and playing – just some of the fun things you could be getting up to this weekend in Sydney.

SING: AUSTRALIA COLLECTIVELY SINGING ‘UNTOUCHED’

This one’s a bit of a weird one, but if you’ve ever dreamed of taking a little time out of your Saturday to collectively sing The Veronica’s biggest hit, then this event at Hyde Park is most definitely for you. Honestly, we’re not even sure if it’ll go ahead, but there’s only one way to find out … Head to the Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/180884469423633/

EXPERIENCE: ABC RADIO SYDNEY WAR ON WASTE CLOTHES SWAP

If you’re bored sick of your wardrobe but you haven’t got the cash to do anything about it, come along to the ABC Ultimo Centre on Saturday to join the War on Waste and change all of that in minutes. All you have to do is bring along up to four items of decent clothing, and you’ll be given tokens to switch them for something else – easy as that. Basically, you can update your wardrobe, absolutely free. There’s a café on hand and even a kiddie stuff swap too, so you can really make a day of it. PARTY: NO SCRUBS – 90’S & EARLY 00’S PARTY

Who doesn’t love the best of the nineties and the noughties? No Scrubs are hosting the perfect party for people who love things cheesy and aren’t afraid to admit it. Head down to Oxford Arts Factory on Friday night and get ready to dance the night away. Last remaining tickets: https://www.moshtix.com.au/v2/event/no-scrubs-90s-early-00s-party/105354

PLAY: WITH PUPPIES, AT THE DOG LOVERS’ SHOW

What could be possibly be better than spending your weekend surrounded by canine cuties? Aside from a cat show (I’m a cat person, sue me), we can’t think of much else. The festival positions itself as “the happiest place on earth”, and we don’t doubt that for a second. For the full program of events and what to expect: https://dogloversshow.com.au/sydney/
