This Weekend in Sydney 11/5

Treat mum (or just yourself) to a weekend of innovation and beauty. Whether that be in the shape of a magical new garden exhibition at the Calyx, amazing photographs, gorgeous clothes or a feed on the beauty that is a free Nutella waffle, there’ll be no complaints that Mother’s Day is boring this year.

GO: Pollination at the Calyx

Witness the stunning new display of vibrant horticultural finesse with the new ‘Pollination’ themed garden at the Calyx. The iconic garden wall, the largest of its kind in Australia, spans 50 metres long and is 6 metres high; dripping in orchids, daisies, gardenias and lilies, the Calyx has been made into an ever-changing kaleidoscope of colour by the team at the Royal Botanic Garden. This display will be available until the 15th of August, and is a free exhibition. See more information online:

EAT: Nutella food truck

Roll up, roll up, all you Nutella lovers! You’ll want to camp out at Chatswood mall because from 7am to 10am this Friday, the 11th of May, a FREE Nutella food truck will be pulling up for 3 hours to deliver your absolute favourite choc-hazelnut spread. With a menu curated by Alistair Fogg of Nighthawk Diner that will include Nutella-drizzled pancakes, crumpets, bagels, waffles and acai bowls, the only bad thing about your day will be the fact that you can only grab one item per customer.
