Gift: Centennial Parklands Xmas Plant Sale

Work thought it’d be a good idea to have a “fun” secret Santa, and you have no idea what to get your cubicle colleague. Centennial parklands is selling off it’s plants to those (you) who are in need of an Xmas miracle. This Saturday you can pick up their excess plants from $2, get down there early because it’s as stocks last. Opens from 9am -12pm Saturday.

Dip + Sip: The Pool at Pier One

Pier one have set up a pop-up called “The Pool”, with a plunge pool on it’s private pontoon.  You can go down, dip your feet in, sip a drink, have a nibbly and relax while you listen to local Dj’s. It’s on offer from Friday-Sunday from noon till sunset. Entry is $30, which gets you a towel, use of pool toys and a drink in your hand (not bad). For more details click:

Do: Summer Series Sensory Walk

Take a sensory walk through the Dharawal National Park. On Saturday December 16  you can go on a Sensory walk led by a  park ranger  that will call on all your sense. Shop: Market Tales Summer Edition

This weekend, the Market Tales Summer Edition by Precinct 75 returns.  Being so close to Christmas, you know there is going to be a stack of great gift ideas, with over 60 makers selling their wares. Expect anything from home-wares, to fashion, jewellery and more.  There will be music by acoustic acts, and you can take part in a workshop.
