Playing off the back of a 23-day US tour, Alison Wonderland has returned down under with a horror-themed Wonderland Scarehouse Project which will be executed in Australia’s haunted farmlands starting this November.
Involving hand-selected artists by Alison herself, A$AP Ferg, Lido, Lunice, Young Franco and more will dedicate themselves to a bass-filled evening set in a creepy setting of no neighbours, no lockouts and no escape routes. Staged outdoors with no noise restrictions and commencing from dusk, this haunted project is one of the first in it’s making to help celebrate the release of Alison’s latest single “Happy Place” and her second album which will be unveiled in early 2018.
The track is Alison’s first new solo music in over two years – co produced by Lido (Halsey), Quix and Joel Little (Lorde). The release is an extension of the Wonderland Scarehouse Project’s Australian and New Zealand tour which will commence from the 26th of November in Brisbane leading to 2nd of December in Melbourne, then 9th of December in Sydney, and ending on the 16th of December in Auckland.
Transportation by a blackened –out bus will be provided pick up patrons to and from the isolated venue. Think rustic machinery, rural farmlands and an abandoned warehouse in total darkness and silence.
