Need a Monday blues refreshment? Held every Monday night at The Basement located in Sydney’s Circular Quay brings together a live performance of talented local and international artists for a weekly edition of The Monday Jam.
Following up from this Monday’s live show hosted by Nic Jeffries on the MC and saxophone and featuring special guests The Leisure Bandits and Hal Strewe on bass, the evening entertained a full house setting the mood with dim lighting which perfectly compliments their tangy whisky sour to order. The Basement provides a compact room with an incredible high-quality sounds system that is laced around the stage and is known as a popular venue for intimate side shows, with previous artists including Hot Chip, Gregg Arthur and Custard. The Monday Jam is an extension of this venue holding jazz and bass acts only with live performances of instruments and vocal singers.
Held every Monday night at the popular venue, The Monday Jam is a night of unparalleled entertainment filled with musicians, music lovers/listeners who come together to jam, network and enjoy the music.
