Reclaim The streets are organising the largest collective ‘yes’ plebiscite voting event this Saturday the 23rd, with thousands expect to congregate at Prince Alfred Park to collectively cast their vote. ‘Dinner’ is a comedy that serves up a savage commentary on the awkward and cringe inducing interactions of a dinner party. The show by the Sydney Theatre Company features Paige, who is celebrating her husband’s new book under duress. She has a few tricks up her sleeve to make the night a little bit more eventful. An all female music day is taking over Miss Peaches Newtown from 2pm on Sunday afternoon. It’s all about championing Women in Music, with a stacked line up of music, stalls selling various wares, a panel about gender related industry challenges and much more. In what will be its 15th year, the Surry Hills Festival returns. Stretching from Crown Street to Hill Street, there will be live music, art trails, things for the kids, as well as food and market stalls There will also be a festival after part at the Clock Hotel from 9pm, with dancing till late. . Entry to the festival is by donation, and all funds raised will go towards the Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre. For more information:
