Here to disrupt your incoming-summer-shred is Good Food Month presented by Citi, which returns to Sydney this October. The event will see the city will be overrun by over 180 delicious events, seminars and chef-collabs. It’s a huge month celebrating the excellent dining scene we have in this country.
This year’s Good Food Month introduces Hyde Park Palms, a new event hub that was designed by acclaimed interior design firm Caroline Beresford Design. From the 5-22nd of October this Palm Springs inspired precinct will be the epicentre for exciting talks with elite culinary guests such as, Marco Pierre White and Neil Perry. It will also play host to a Cali-Mex party by ACME chef, Mitch Orr and Mr Wong’s, Dan Hong, an Africola Sound System extravaganza, all of which is just the tup of the iceberg.
Of course there is no Good Food Month without the now mythic Night Noodle Markets, which return to Hyde Park. You can expect all the favourites, with over forty stalls. These include the likes of Din Tai Fung, House of Crabs, Indu, Mr Bao, Chur Burger, Gelato Messina and Black Star Pastry among others. The Markets are also cash free, helping you spend less time lining up, and more tie eating.
Let’s Do Lunch also returns to the programme, giving Sydney-siders the best lunch offerings at the best price. Cornerstones of Sydney’s dining scene like Catalina Rose Bay and Nomad join the program this year.
Alongside with all these month-long events, there is going to be range of one off event presented by Citi. Some big players join the bill with experiences like a sushi –whisky party at Sokyo, or spritzes on the outdoor terrace at Pilu, as you enjoy a three course experience.
