Friday night, Red Bull’s Sound Select is presenting the very best of Sydney’s up and coming artists. This month’s gig, themed ‘Kaleidoscopic soul’ is a selection of artists who meld Electronica with R&B and Hip Hop. Jon, Slum Sociable and Bus Vipers will be taking over the Lansdowne Hotel. With entry at as low as $3 with RSVP or $10 on the door, there’s no real excuse to not support live music in Sydney.

Do: Adopt a Greyhound
The 29th of July is Adopt a Greyhound day at Wentworth Park. These rehabilitated doggo’s will make good boys (or girls) to have as your new furry friend of the house. There will e a $1 sausage sizzle, food truck and coffee van, and activities for the kids and heaps of Greyhounds that need a good home.
