RAY-BAN & BOILER ROOM ANNOUNCE FIRST AUSTRALIAN SHOW AS PART OF THE COLLABORATIVE GLOBETROTTING SERIES
After travelling the world, taking in the likes of Milan, LA, London, San Francisco, Chicago and SXSW in Austin, the much heralded collaborative event series between Ray-Ban and Boiler Room will finally hit Australian shores on November 10 with Melbourne, Australia’s live music capital, confirmed as the next stop.
The 11th edition of the Ray-Ban x Boiler Room series will take place at a secret, inner city warehouse location. In true Ray-Ban x Boiler Room style, the show will be headlined and curated by a world class act, who has called in a few favours from fellow musicians to create a stellar line up - set to drop in October.
Demand for access to show is set to be unprecedented once the lineup is announced, however Ray-Ban are already offering exclusive tickets to those who get on board and #CAMPAIGN4CHANGE – a campaign that celebrates individuality and brings to life inspirational individuals as pioneers, trailblazers and rule breakers in their everyday lives, ready to show the world how they want to make a change (INFO HERE).
The Ray-Ban x Boiler Room series provides a snapshot of each city’s musical culture, curated by some of the world’s most visionary artists. Each and every line up to date has featured some of electronic music’s biggest names providing a platform for the likes of Skream, Nicolas Jaar, Todd Edwards, Dam Funk, Four Tet, Hudson Mohawk, Busta Rhymes, Kaytranada, DJ Harvey, Armand Van Helden and Jackmaster, who have collectively created one of the most enduring musical legacies known today.
Ray-Ban x Boiler Room 011 in Melbourne will mirror the international broadcasts of intimate, RSVP only events, featuring DJ sets from international heavyweights and the true local underground, beamed live via the internet. With last month’s surprise guest in LA being none other than DJ Snoopadelic aka Snoop Dogg, the hyped up collaborative series provides every reason to add it to the social calendar this instant.
