If you haven't heard of Perth based Alt-Folk artist Riley Pearce, it is nothing to fret about however the songwriter is about to release a series of songs that will leave you feeling cheated if you don’t get around them. After a whirlwind year of recording, writing, touring and releasing music, Pearce is putting himself back in the spotlight with this weeks release of a live version of his already hugely successful track - Elephants.

With over 30M streams worldwide already, Pearce is in no way looking to slow down when it comes to releasing accessible, personal music and Elephants (live) is no exception to the rule. It is a track filled with emotional guitar playing and warm vocal melodies which stroke the sole softy.

When asked about what the song meant to him Pearce replied:

This song has always been quite an intimate song about missing family who live away from home and putting in the extra effort to stay involved in each others lives. It only felt right to create a more stripped back version of the song.

This September will see Riley Pearce embark on his second European and UK Tour with none other than Nettwerk Music Group label-mate - Garrett Kato and will find himself back touring Australian soil with a handful of shows in November.

From humble beginnings busking at farmers markets and playing open mic nights in Perth, Riley now regularly sells out shows across Australia, tours internationally and is a recipient of Multiple WA Music Folk Song of the Year Award’s.
