We ask one of our favourite songstresses all the questions you never knew you wanted answered.

BYO: Festivals or stand-alone concerts?

Angie: Concerts.

BYO: Sydney or Melbourne?

Angie: Melbourne

BYO: Swimming or hiking?

Angie: That’s hard. I like swimming as often as possible — it’s like meditating — but I’d like to go hiking every now and then to see something new and beautiful. I don’t think I’m good at hiking.

BYO: Summer or winter?

Angie: Autumn

BYO: Country or city?

Angie: This is so black and white I love both and now I’m stressed ahh probably country.

BYO: Recording or performing?

Angie: Recording, but I think my answer changes depending on my state.

BYO: Guitar or singing?

Angie: Singing.

BYO: Albums or singles?

Angie: Albums

BYO: Tradition or innovation?

Angie: Innovation, but I love some old school things. I like balancing this one!

BYO: Travelling by air or by land?

Angie: Land! No airports.

BYO: Guilty Pleasure you indulge in?

Angie: Ice cream in the morning, ice cream in the bath. Bad TV. Bad TV and ice cream in the bath.

BYO: Name your top 3 musical inspirations?

Angie: I can’t, but 3 of them are Mia Dyson, Adrianne Lenker and Justin Vernon.

BYO: After a gig, what do you do? How do you celebrate?

Angie: Pack up lots of stuff and load the car and unload the car, hugs and food and sleep.

BYO: What would you do if you won a million dollars tomorrow?

Angie: Invest? What do smart people do with money? Maybe buy somewhere to live, and a car, and donate some.

BYO: Favourite childhood memory?

Angie: Being cold and playing board games at a farm house with my family and dogs.
