Aussie Wine Month at 12 Micron – All May

May holds the biggest celebration of Australian wine, showcasing the exceptional quality that our great country has to offer is Aussie Wine Month. Across the country hundreds of restaurants and bars will be focusing in on all that is good in Australian wine. 12 Micron at Barangaroo are celebrating with a 5 course-tasting menu with matching regional wines. Each dish reflects a wine region in Aus,,starting from Tasmania, before circling the country.


Sydney Korean Festival – 5th & 6th  of May

A two-day festival celebrating all things Korean is coming to Tumbalong Park in Darling Harbour. You can expect Korean Street Food and K-Pop along with live taekwondo demonstrations, a singing contest and more. There will be food trucks and stalls littered around the outdoor festivals three stages. Meatstock  - 5 & 6th of May

MEATSTOCK! It just makes you feel like yelling.  The Meat and Music festival is returning to Sydney on the 5th and 6th of May after its sell out event in 2017. Pitmasters turned hosts Big Moe Cason and Hillbilly Wes will be running barbecue classes and demos for competitors and public. There will be over 50 Teams from across Australia nettling it out for $8,000 in cash and prizes as well as the glory. It’ll be a day filled smoky meats, music and beers with a line up of food trucks and craft beer from Six String Brewery.


World Whisky Dinner at Osaka Trading Co - May 17

6 courses of modern Japanese with a corresponding flight of whisky, sign me up. It’s all in celebration of World Whisky day.  Think confit ocean trout, with a 14yr old Scottish whisky, or a Coffee parfait and a night-cap of Starward Solera Whisky. There are two sittings; 6:30 and 8pm, with tickets  available below.


May 25th – Mr Black Caffeine Festival 2018-04-26

Following on from the success of last years Espresso Martini Festival, Sydney’s quintessential cocktail is making its festival reprise, with Mr Black bringing not only the Martini, but the best in bar and coffee culture.  Expect a bunch of drinks, and also some great food from the likes of Salt Meats Cheese, Johnny Bird and an entire dessert bar.  Combine this all with Vivid Festival and you’re guaranteed a great night.
