Alas, one of the biggest hallmarks of prissy popular suburbanites from the early 2000s is back on the map (thanks a lot Vetements). Hipster-tinged fast fashion giant Urban Outfitters has teamed up with Juicy Couture for a limited edition offering of the brand’s signature tracksuits, tees and intimates. Branded with Juicy’s classic J-zip, bedazzled logo and cheeky slogans, the collaboration is realized via a steamy campaign, lensed by Petra Collins, that stars R&B starlet Tinashe.
“Urban Outfitters has found great success in our collaborations with brands that are embracing the nostalgia factor,” the press release states. “The Juicy Couture for Urban Outfitters collection allows us to curate the iconic tracksuit style of the early aughts for today’s customer and we think Tinashe is the perfect face to introduce the collection to a new generation.”
