My job should not include abuse

With the hashtag #myjobshouldnotincludeabuse climbing in social media ranks, many have been sharing their own experiences of sexual abuse in the industry through Instagram. The likes of Kate Upton, Sara Sampaio, Saskia De Brauw and Edie Campbell have taken to the social media platform to share stories in support of model and activist Cameron Russell – who has been sharing anonymous stories on behalf of lesser-known individuals in the fashion industry.


Top Global Fashion Schools 2017

The Business of Fashion has released their Top Global Fashion Schools list for 2017. The coveted Central Saint Martins in London has remained at the top of the list with the highest global influence score - rated by industry professionals. The University of Technology, Sydney fashion programme has risen 15 places from number 28 in 2016 to number 13 this year. Whitehouse Institute of Design and Sydney’s TAFE Fashion Design Studio have now joined the ranks at numbers 27 and 28, respectively.


UTS Honours Fashion Show

More success for UTS, with their 2017 Fashion Show drawing in industry professionals to view the work of this year’s honours class. Leading lights included Peta Tornaros, Yael Frischling, Guzman and Samantha D’Iorio.
