Stroll through the back streets of Surry Hills and you’ll never know what you will find. From November 27, there’ll be a little fox ducking out of the corner of Bourke St and Phelps St.
Making its way from Paris, via Tokyo, that fox is dropping off a curated collection of ready to wear garments, tablewear and accessories. Part of the Café Kitsuné line, Incu are making the collection available at Artificer coffee shop from 10.30am.
The Café Kitsuné label is one of the extensions of the Kitsuné boutique. Having already softly placed their seal on clothing and music, the foudners of Maison Kitsuné, Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, opened two coffee shops, one in Paris and one in Tokyo, simply named Café Kitsuné. While we are yet to experience the full hospitality of the French brand, the Incu crew are partnering up with Artificer to give us a Sydney take on the understated concept.
When released in the northern hemisphere summer this year, the collection included pieces such as ceramic cup and saucer sets, caps, sweaters and t-shirts. Incu has been stocking the Café Kitsuné tote for a little while now but we are hoping that this pop up will allow us to sample the full breadth of the range.
Catching the little fox before it ducks back off north, this makes one more reason to stop for a coffee and a shop.
