Knowing that drinks are always better shared, Jameson have just announced that they’ll be rolling into Sydney and Melbourne for a one off combination of music, food, and of course, drinks, aptly named JJ’s Place.
For those in Sydney, JJ’s place will be held at The Commune, in Waterloo on Saturday, December 1 . Between the old factory walls a roster of local acts will be providing the soundtrack with The Delta Riggs, The Gooch Palms, Display Homes and FBi DJs making an appearance. For Melbourne denizens, on Saturday, November 24, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Bec Sandridge and Bitch Diesel will be bringing the tunes.
While we don’t really need a reason to get together and share a couple of drinks while listening to music, Jameson have brought this on to launch their newest addition to the whiskey family, the Jameson Caskmates IPA edition. The combination of whiskey and IPA beer barrels is the inspiration behind bringing all good things together for the events, and Jameson are bringing along their nearest and dearest.
Drinks are a collaboration between Jameson and Young Henrys, who’ll be offering an exclusive Irish Pale Ale for the occasion. In Sydney, feeds will be on Frankie’s Pizza and Continental Deli, who’ve been putting their heads together to come up with the best food pairings to go with the whiskey. For those down south, Leonard’s House of Love will be slinging burger boxes and loaded fries.
To get access to all of this entry is free, and Jameson are shouting you your first drink, but spots are limited and tickets will be given away via a ballot. To register head over to: https://www.jamesonwhiskey.com/en-AU/events/jjs-place.
