With the Sydney Comedy Festival closing at the end of this week, it’s time to look at some of the best comedy acts happening in Sydney. 


Aaron Chen - piss off (just kidding)

Aaron Chen’s new show explores how after everything dark and bitter there is something sweet. Aaron Chen’s shows have previously won: 2017 Best Newcomer, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, 2017 Best Newcomer, Sydney Comedy Festival and 2016 Director’s Choice, Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Demi Larder - Ditch Witch 800

This show will hilariously look at fairy tale characters with a special mention of the characters from Shrek. Demi Larder has received the following awards for their comedy show: 2018 Pinder Prize, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, 2017 Directors Choice, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, 2017 Underbelly Award, Edinburgh Fringe, 2016 Best Newcomer, Sydney Comedy Festival and 2013 Best Newcomer, Adelaide Fringe Comedy.
