Culture Guide October 1 - 7

Sometimes, keeping a handle on individual artists and events can be just too much. Lucky for us, this week there’s a variety of showcases, which allow audiences to get a taste of what is happening and who to check out, all neatly packaged into one evening. Check out what we’ve rounded up below for a glimpse into Sydney’s world of culture and performance.


Horizon

This one-night event features over 50 hand-picked artists from Sydney across a range of creative disciplines. Hosted by RAW, a global talent agency with an underground focus, the night will spotlight artists across all disciplines. Celebrate fashion, music, visual art, photography, performing art, hair, makeup and accessories in this pop-up interactive gallery while enjoying performances and a live runway.

Tangents, Anti Guitar Trio and The Museum of Faces

This monthly progressive showcase celebrates experimental and local music. The musicians performing (Tangents and Anti Guitar Trio) will explore a range of genres and blend genres to create beautiful new sounds. There will also be the opening of The Museum of Faces which is a giant audio-visual interactive installation.
